Protest and get banned, or say nothing and be able to play the game on NA servers. The remaining Arma regulars or Ro2/Rs1 regulars who were upset with this Admin decision were left with a choice. Other players took to the discord with the hashtag and were suppressed or banned. I was questioned on this action and openly stated I had nothing to do with their behavior or questions. Either with #FreeSourKraut or posting their own spam in BB channels. You agree with whatever the person has power says which is what I did.Īfter I was banned other regulars took it upon themselves to protest. I played the same card everyone plays when they are about to face a banhammer or a disciplinary actions. I was brought into a private room and at this point I knew I was going to be banned. I was messaged by the admins, and got a little pissed and called one of them a dipshit. One of these comments included a picture of a dead Palestinian child(no closeups, no visible blood, just a body on a ground) pro-imperialism posts remained up. Unfortunately, I provided the admins with justification after posting anti-Israel comments in their politics channel. It was slowly becoming obvious that push would come to shove. We generally ignored this since it was brought up before that there were issues with players within the community during these Arma 3 sessions (note that these were not BB official sessions, rather players hosting their own lobbies while happening to be a BB ro2 member at the same time). They would comment on all of us playing Arma 3 but not being on the BB discord at that time while playing.
We would be harassed through steam by BB admins. Shortly after, heavy admin pressure began. These issues were brought up to BB admins before we decided on this, no appropriate admin action was taken.
The decision was made to move to a different discord server when we played Arma, and then use Bloodbath for Bloodbath gaming. Anyone could come in and talk over people playing the game which created issues. The only remaining issue is we all used discord and the Arma 3 voice channel was public use. Shortly after this the group decided to privately play Arma. However if any of you have played Arma before you know that one person not taking it semi-seriously can ruin hours of work in a mission. One of us would host whatever mission we'd do (usually zombie survival) and others would join in. We enjoyed playing Arma 3 and originally had an open event of sorts. Without name dropping all other Bloodbath members that played with me I'll continue. I personally was given the banhammer for " attempted poaching-bb admin" of bloodbath community members. Shortly after that member activity began getting moderated.

They were handed beta keys to disperse amongst their regulars(I was one of these but they accidentally gave me the full game instead of the beta). For example: the admins got the full game of RS2 without having to pay for it. It's pretty obvious why, with such a popularity the developers started giving special treatment. It became less of a community of Ro2/Rs1 fans and more of a "corporate" community.

Heavy intense nights of Ro2 and Rs1, and a little branching out into other games. I remember the mass exodus from MM to BB.
